Associate Member Registration: VSELA Meeting (NO Lodging Needed) – $200.00
VSELA Meeting with no lodging. Does not include preconference.
Associate Member Registration: VSELA Meeting AND one night lodging – $325.00
Hotel room for the night of May 6th. Does not include preconference.
Member Registration: Preconference Only and One Night Lodging – $50.00
Preconference and one night lodging on May 5, 2025. Must attend entire preconference training to receive this rate. Preconference meals and hotel cost are supported by NOAA BWET grant.

Advancing Environmental Literacy Across Virginia (see flyer)

Join us for a focused pre-conference session dedicated to environmental literacy, supported by a NOAA BWET grant. This hands-on session will guide participants in developing division-wide environmental literacy plans, incorporating best practices and exploring regional environmental issues. The day will conclude with a networking dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Short Pump.

Please note: Intended preconference participants would be for school divisions developing or revising their environmental literacy plans, and individuals directly supporting school divisions with Elit plans including VEN members and Elit hub leaders

Spring Conference: Tuesday, May 6 - Wednesday, May 7, 2025

"Leading the Charge: Strategies and Tools for Empowering Science Education" (Agenda)

This year’s conference will provide science leaders with actionable strategies, tools, and networking opportunities to enhance professional learning and drive impactful science education in Virginia. Participants will engage in:
✅ Dynamic breakout sessions on best practices and innovation in science education
✅ Regional collaboration and leadership development
✅ Committee-driven initiatives, including professional learning, science communication, and book studies
✅ Networking receptions and vendor exhibits

Online Registration for the conference requesting lodging will close on April 11, 2025.
For Associate Members and members not requesting lodging, registration will close on April 21.
Option to register for the preconference will also close on April 11, 2025.
May 6-7 VSELA Conference: Registration and check-ins will be from 9:00-10:00 AM and 4:00-5:00PM.
All registrations are nonrefundable.
