  The Fall 2025 Vendor registration is now open for vendors interested in sponsoring the VSELA conference on October 28-29, 2025.  There are five sponsorship options (see table below) available for the 2025 Fall VSELA meeting.

  Preconference:  Monday, October 27, 2025

  Advancing Environmental Literacy Across Virginia (see flyer)

  Join us for a focused pre-conference session dedicated to environmental literacy, supported by a NOAA BWET grant. This hands-on session will guide participants in developing division-wide environmental literacy plans, incorporating best practices and exploring regional environmental issues.  For this session, science are encouraged to invite a environmental partner to attend the preconference.  Time will be provided to allow partners opportunities to collaborate with science leaders.   The day will conclude with a networking dinner at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Short Pump.  

    Please note: Intended preconference participants would be for school divisions developing or revising their environmental literacy plans, and individuals directly supporting school divisions with Elit plans including VEN members and Elit hub leaders

  • This year’s conference will provide science leaders with actionable strategies, tools, and networking opportunities to enhance professional learning and drive impactful science education in Virginia. Participants will engage in:
    ✅ Dynamic breakout sessions on best practices and innovation in science education
    ✅ Regional collaboration and leadership development
    ✅ Committee-driven initiatives, including professional learning, science communication, and book studies
    ✅ Networking receptions and vendor exhibits

  • Online Registration for the conference requesting lodging will close on October 3.   

  •  For Associate Members and members not requesting lodging, registration will close on October 17.   

  •  Option to register for the preconference will also close on October 3,  2025.   

  • October 28-29 VSELA Conference:  Registration and check-ins will be from 9:00-10:00 AM and 4:00-5:00PM. 

  • All registrations are nonrefundable.
